I’VE REQUESTED A REFUND OF THE FEE CHARGED AS, WHEN I DID THE TRANSACTION, THE COST OF THE FEE WAS NOT SHOWN IN THE SCREEN AND I DISCOVERED IT WHEN I RECEIVED THE RECEIPT BY EMAIL. PLEASE, I NEED TO BE REFUNDED OF THE CHARGED THAT I WAS NOT AWARE OF.

When I was about to renew the domain, I didn’t know about the expensive fee charged. Then I entered a voucher code that I had received by email few days before and the final price for renewing my domain changed to 18 euro. I introduced my card details and order the payment confirming the final price that was shown in the screen, that was 18 euro, no 98 euro…
After that, I received a receipt by email with a different amount that included the initial fee. So I will appreciate if you could help me to cancel this transaction and refund my money.

It looks like the domain when cancelled, then went into a redemption zone, which means it was subject to a redemption fee of $80, which is non-refundable.

However, I see the domain has been cancelled, and the domain registration fee has been refunded.

The registration fee of €18.00 has been refunded. You can confirm here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing
To clarify you payed €98.00 to recover your domain from redemption (aka a “late renewal) and that is €18.00 for the standard registration plus a €80.00 fine that must be paid to remove the domain from redemption.
Sometime after making that purchase you cancelled for a refund, but only the €18.00 is returned to you. The €80.00 redemption fine is not refundable if you cancel.
Is it your intent to recover bombaytobarcelona.com? Or are you trying to give up ownership of this domain?

I’m going to explain myself better with what happened:
When I was going to renew my domain for one year more, I saw an extra cost that I was unaware of. Then, I used a discount voucher code that I had received by email from WordPress and, when I entered it, the final cost changed to €18.
I did not take a screenshot, but I can assure you that it showed me a different final cost with the voucher applied. It was then when I decided to proceed with my purchase and entered my bank details, as I was agree with that new final price, € 18 as a total cost.
I only realised that I had been charged € 98 when I received the electronic receipt.
To be more clear, I did NOT accept the cost charged, therefore your purchase and cancellation terms cannot apply to me in this case, since that wordpress voucher did applied a discount to me and I confirmed a payment for € 18, not €98.
I earnestly beg you to reimburse me for money that I have not agreed to pay.

Also, the reason why I ask is because domain redemptions are not subject to any promotions.

This is a coupon that applies to plans and not domain redemptions – It wouldn’t have been applied when added into the checkout.

That is the code I used and I can assure you that when entering it changed the price… Is there any way to check the log of the process that I followed? Please understand that I would not have gone ahead with the payment if the discount had not been applied, so it might have been an error in the system or something?, but somehow I agreed a payment that didn’t include the fee. -
