Refund for a premium package I ordered and was not to be charged for.

  • Unknown's avatar

I requested the free trial for $99.00 premium package and read that I would not be charged for 14 days. I was charged and would like a refund posted to my account until the 14 day trial period is up.

Please let me know if this is a problem and when this has been taken care of.

    Thank you for your time.

    Hi there,

I went ahead and refunded the Premium bundle transaction. Please allow a few business days before the funds are available on your account.

I left the Premium bundle intact on your account and set the expiration date for 14 days from today (so 6/3/14). Between now and then, you can renew at any time from the link here:

Please let me know if you need anything else!

Thanks for all your help! I didn’t mean to create all of those blogs, I would just like one: southshorestylish.com.
Is that possible? Then delete the rest.

    Thanks!!

    Hi Hilary,

To confirm, you have the following blogs on your account:

    • southshorestylish.wordpress.com
    • southshorestylishdotcom.wordpress.com
    • southshorestylishdotcom1.wordpress.com
    • southshorestylishdotcom2.wordpress.com
    • southshorestylishdotcom3.wordpress.com

You would like the Premium bundle trial to be moved to southshorestylish.wordpress.com. Is that correct? After we select your primary blog (the admin WordPress.com URL), you can register the domain you’re looking for following the instructions here:

    Register a New Domain

Then, I’ll give instructions on how you can delete the extra blog addresses.

Ok, I think I understand now. I’ll register the name southshorestylish.com under southshorestylish.wordpress.com and then you can show me how to delete the other accounts.

    Is that correct?

Thanks again for all your help on this!!

    Hi Hilary!

Yep! That’s correct. I went ahead and removed the Premium bundle trial from southshorestylishdotcom3.wordpress.com since it sounds like you want to use the admin URL southshorestylish.wordpress.com, which fits better with your domain. So, I added a Premium bundle trial to southshorestylish.wordpress.com as you can see here:

    https://southshorestylish.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades

So, a custom domain (like southshorestylish.com) is included with the Premium bundle. If you purchase the bundle, you can register a domain alongside of it at no additional cost (so $99 total). Alternatively, if you don’t think you’ll want to keep the Premium bundle, you can just register the domain for $18 ($26 if you would like a private registration). Does that make sense? Let me know which way you’re leaning so I can make sure this is all setup correctly and you don’t accidentally pay too much! For reference, the Premium bundle includes all of the upgrades seen here:

    http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/pro-bundle/

Now, to clean up the duplicate blog URLs, follow the instructions here to delete the blogs you do not want:

    Delete a Website

Provided you select the appropriate URL when following those instructions, it shouldn’t inadvertently delete southshorestylish.wordpress.com. Does that make sense?

Feel free to shoot any questions back at me!
