Refund for all purchases related to i-staxx.com

    Good afternoon,

    I looked for a private venue to e-mail my complaint but this is all I could find for billing issues.

    Prior to purchasing i-staxx.com I was informed by a ‘happiness engineer’ that WordPress could support several features that were critical to the site’s success.

    1. a scrolling ticker for stock updates
    2. the ticker could be updated every 5 minutes with market data
    3. Import an rss feed from Market watch….among other features.

    After establishing the site and putting many man-hours into building it I was unable to adopt any of the features necessary. The best I could do was to add a twitter feed.
    I would like a full refund of all purchases related to i-staxx.com.

    Hi there,

    I looked through your entire support history, and aside from this thread you’ve contacted us only 3 times via email. In none of those email exchanges were you told that you could embed a ticker on your site. In fact, in the last exchange two weeks ago two different happiness engineers told you it was not possible. You never replied to our last message.

    When exactly were you told that you can add a stats ticker to your site? And was it in a forum thread or via email? Were you using a different WordPress.com username when you made that request?

    It is not possible for me to refund the domains, discarded-lives.com purchased on 5 September or i-staxx.com and istaxx.com purchased on 18 September. Domains can only be refunded for the first 48 hours after purchase, and those domains were all well beyond this refund period when you cancelled them.

    If you want I can try to recover those domains from our registrar, and then you can use them with sites hosted somewhere else, and transfer them away from us completely after you’ve owned them for 60 days, but it’s not possible for me to refund them.

    The Premium and Personal plans you bought on 18 September for two different sites have been refunded.
