Refund for Cancelled Domain?

  Hi, I am still looking out for confirmation that I cancelled the registration for the domain elizabethmartinwriting.com
  I attempted to cancel this within 48 hrs of the initial purchase but have received no confirmation. Now I can’t tell what the status is.
  I should be getting a refund of $26.00
  Please let me know the status of said refund.

  Hi Elizabeth,

  It appears you may have only cancelled the private registration attached to the domain, but the domain itself wasn’t cancelled.

  Can you confirm you want to cancel the domain and I’ll complete the process for you. When canceling the domain, it can take several weeks for it to return to the market and there is no guarantee you can repurchase it later. Once we cancel the domain, we cannot undo it.

  If you want to use your domain on another service, you should keep it and we can reroute where it directs folks to when they visit it.
