Refund for domain

  Hello,
  I believe I have been mislead with purchasing a free domain then needing to purchase a website. I got a refund for the website but now I can’t use the domain to change my website or I need to transfer it to another site. I just want a full refund plus this method of customer service isn’t efficient so overall I am not having a great expiernce with WordPress.

  Regarding your domain, our policy states that domains must be canceled within 96 hours (4 days) to qualify for a full refund. Since your domain was registered 9 days ago, it falls outside of this refund window. However, I’d like to offer a solution that might work for you.

  If you’re interested in continuing with WordPress.com, you can upgrade to one of our plans. As a part of this upgrade, we’ll automatically deduct the cost of the domain you’ve already paid for from the plan price. This way, you can still make use of your domain without any additional cost. When you add any plan to your cart, you’ll immediately see this discount reflected.

  I didn’t discover I couldn’t change my website name until two days ago. No thank you, I don’t want to continue with WordPress.

  If you want to keep using your domain, you can move the domain to another site

  Since you recently registered the domain, you have to wait 60 days before you can transfer your domain to a different host, but in the meantime, you can use the domain with your site by pointing the nameservers over to your new host:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/
