Refund for Domain

  I would like to cancel howldogwalking.wordpress.com completely – no more blog or domain name. I purchased this a year ago and paid for the full year and yesterday auto renew charged me for this coming year, which I do not need. I would like to be refunded for the amount charged to me yesterday, if possible.

  I made an attempt to cancel it but am not savvy enough to know for sure if I did it correctly. Please let me know what I need to do in order to cancel this blog and be refunded the $28 charged for this coming year.

  Howdy,

  To confirm, you have no intention of using the domain name anywhere? Once cancelled, it can take some time for it to return to the market and could be purchased by someone else before you’ll have a chance to.

  You cancelled the transaction before it was charged—we authorize a renewal a day early, then finalize the charge the next day. You cancelled it within that day, so while your bank may show a pending transaction, it will be not finalized and no money will be taken from your account.

  Once confirmed that the domain is not wanted, I’ll remove the domain completely so you won’t be bothered about it anymore and instructions on how to fully delete your site.
