Refund for domain cancellation

    The SAME day that I purchased my domain name I requested for it to be cancelled. After selecting my reason for cancellation and stating that I knew the cancellation could cause me to lose the name, a notation appeared on the screen saying that I would be contacted by someone. Since I never heard anything, I logged-in today and now I see that the domain name is showing active and it won’t let me cancel it because the 2 day window has passed. Please cancel the domain and refund me the $26, since I did request the cancellation at the appropriate time. That day, as soon as I realized I had created my blog on wordpress.com and not wordpress.org, I cancelled my upgrade and the domain name, yet the domain name cancellation has somehow been undone. Seems shady!
