refund for domain mapping service ?

    I registered myself on wp.com and got my self 2 services

    1) domain registration for cycling-daily.com for 5 usd
    2) domain mapping service for cyling-daily.com for 13 usd

    now I want host my service elsewhere ie on godaddy through wordpress.org.

    I would like to cancel domain mapping service and get a refund of 13 usd. I tried speaking to the customer service they say its linked.. I dont understand how. Why cant domain mapping be cancelled and domain blog be directed to cycling-daily.wordpress.com

    Pls help !!

    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

    Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you can request a refund yourself directly from the Store section of your Dashboard, and also request a refund and disable auto-renew there.
    Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
