Refund For Guided Transfer On Suspended Account

    I would like a refund for the Guided Transfer service I paid for this past Saturday. It obviously does not apply to suspended accounts and yet it’s on offer. It shouldn’t be because the page the email directs you to indicates you can’t access it because your account is suspended. You need to correct that in your programming. Guided Transfer should not be on offer for suspended accounts since there is no way to communicate when your account is suspended and you all do business by email only it seems. One wonders how many people with suspended accounts have fallen for this over the years and have never been refunded their fee for a service they never received. It borders on fraud. What would General Dunwoody think & say about that?

    I’ve refunded your Guided Transfer as requested. You should receive the full refund in about 10 business days, depending on your bank’s processing times.

    It obviously does not apply to suspended accounts and yet it’s on offer. It shouldn’t be because the page the email directs you to indicates you can’t access it because your account is suspended.

    I see nothing in our internal documentation indicating that this service cannot be used for suspended sites, but I’ll follow up with the team responsible to clarify that.

    One wonders how many people with suspended accounts have fallen for this over the years and have never been refunded their fee for a service they never received.

    We automatically cancel and refund any Guided Transfer that has not been started within 30 days of purchase.
