Refund for hosting

  I was hoping to build a website where I could sell my photos, but it seems I can’t do this on wordpress.com. Instead I need a wordpress.org site. Well, I did not know that and I would like to get my $13 refunded if possible. I already own the domain on another registrar, I just mapped it to wordpress. I’m going to have to pay for someone else to host it, since I can’t do it on wordpress.org, and the .com site does not have the functionality I want. Is this possible?

  Hi,

  You’re correct, a WordPress.org site could allow much more flexibility for selling photos online. If you were going to sell a couple, you could add PayPal buttons to your WordPress.com site.

  Agreed, though, for a full-service e-commerce solution, WordPress.org will serve your needs better.

  I’ve refunded your upgrade and should see it reflected on your statement in the next few days.
