Refund for trialperiod
-
Hi there,
March the 19.’th 2014, I created a blog on wordpress.com
I didn’t know how to handle anything on the website, and wanted therefore to try a premium membership (As I recall, there is a 2 week-trial for new users) So I did.
Last night I got an email from my bank, telling me that 299 dollars was taken off my account from this website.number 1 problem; It hasn’t been 2 weeks before Wednesday
2) I can’t find prove anywhere that the money has been paid. Which means, I am still not a premium user, and my billing history tells that nothing has been billed.
3) I don’t WANT TO be a premium user. Especially not the most expensive one.
Therefore, is there some way to cancel the renewal and get refund? I really can’t afford paying so many money to something I don’t even know how to use..
Thank youThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.
From Details and Terms:
You can try any participating upgrade for a 14-day trial period, at no charge. You will be asked to provide payment information when starting the trial, but you will not be charged until the 14-day trial period is up. If you cancel before the period is up, you will not be charged at all.
We will send you an email reminder one day before you will be charged.
You can cancel trial upgrades under Store → My Upgrades in your dashboard at any time. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-claim-14-days-of-free-service?replies=4#post-1680415 -
I am aware of the system, but the problem is that I signes up the 19’th, and was charged yesterday. Which is wrong, based on the fact that the 2-week trial was supposed to end on wednesday.

Hi again,
This thread has been tagged for Staff as stated above. Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in chronological order based on datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected. How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.
Please don’t bump your thread by posting into it again because it’s not in your best interest to post to it after it has been tagged for Staff help. Doing that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response.

Hello,
Okay, thank you for your help.. But I don’t know how to get in contact with the staff anyways, and I have a big problem which I’d like to solve.
So what should I do, to get the staffs help? -
You do nothing but subscribe to this thread and wait for Staff to respond.

Well, okay then.
I do not have anything to add for my request, so I’l guess I just wait for the staff the tell me whether to get my refund or not -
