Refund for videopress

    During our vacations we use the paid videopress premium to share videos with our folks back home. For the last two days (we’re back on vacation again) we’ve been wondering why we couldn’t upload video anymore from the iOS app. It took me over two hours to find a hidden thread in the support forum where someone from WordPress says they have decided to drop it from the app because THEY were unhappy with it. I’m sure you can imagine I am very upset with this. Especially with the fact that it is a PAID service and the least you could have done, is to warn users about this. That way I could have decided to stay on the last iOS version that still supported videos since it worked perfectly for me.
    I would like a refund on the videopress option since WordPress’ decision now makes it impossible for me to use the service as I intended to, before the expiration of the this I upgrade.

    Hi there,

    I’m very sorry however all of our products are only refundable within the first 30 days of purchase. Given that your VideoPress has been used for 11 months, I am unable to provide a refund for it.

    I am again very sorry for the inconvenience, and I have ensured that VideoPress will not automatically renew when it comes up for renewal next month.
