refund from my cancelling

  Hi WordPress,

  I would like to know how to get a proated refund from cancelling my subscription. I don’t have time to setup a site and now no longer wish to have a site. After four years of paying the subscription, I wish I would get a notice before the subscription was renewed.

  Please let me know how to get a portion of the fees refunded.

  Hi Wim –

  The renewal notifications that we send are delivered to the email address listed on the account at wordpress.com/me/account/ You may want to double check and make sure that the address there is updated.

  On June 24th, 2017 we issued a full $99 refund. These funds should have reached you by now. Typically it only takes about ten days for the money to reach you.

  At this point, it’s best to contact your financial company regarding the refund. They will be able to let you know when they are going to put the money back in your account . Sometimes it does take 1-2 billing cycles. They will also tell you how it is going to be listed on your statement.
