Refund from WordPress

    Good evening, I received a credit of 299 euros as I closed my link, I have the payment registered on my credit card and WordPress will take the money. When and how can I receive a refund?

    Thanks for contacting us! It appears that “You will be refunded to the same payment method you used for your purchase. After processing, refunds usually take about ten days to appear on your statement. For credit card refunds, it could take up to 1-2 billing cycles for the refund to show up. International refunds can take even longer to reach you. Your financial institution is going to be able to tell you when to expect the refund and how it will be listed on your statement.” This information is located on the following support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/.

    Thanks for writing to us.

    We processed this refund on 2018-05-23. Typically it takes about 10 days for that money to reach your financial party.

    How long it takes to get to your account from that financial party is something you would need to talk to them about. If you haven’t seen the refund come through in 10 business days then I’d get in touch with them. Sometimes it will take 1-2 billing cycles, etc… They can also tell you what to watch for on the statement as it may not even be listed on its own line, they may simple remove the original payment.

    The repayment document is dated May 31st. Will the gentleman come with my credit card?

    @mgmsub62 I can see the refund was processed on May 31, and that funds have left our account. You’ll want to give that time to route back to your card.
