Refund frustrations

    I want to start by saying that the fact this company doesn’t offer over the phone help is extremely infuriating and doesn’t really make sense to me. Anyways, three days ago I purchased the $99 plan along with the $50 domain and a couple hours later, regretted my decision because I’ll probably never use it. I was relieved to see they offered a full refund within the 48 hour allotted time frame and immediately clicked the “cancel and refund” button for each purchase. I checked my email today and realized I had never received a confirmation of my refund, so I went to to WordPress and saw that it had in fact not been refunded and to add to the frustration, it had been changed to where I could only receive a $66 refund on the plan because it was past the 48 hour mark. I feel like I’ve been treated very unfairly and any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Just to clarify, if you want to cancel your domain ravencarter.co it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using ravencarter.co again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel.

    Please confirm that you understand and want to cancel your domain. Once you have done so, I will cancel it, remove the upgrade from your account, and process the refund.

    I’m still waiting on my refund. It has been longer than 10 business days. Why can I not talk to a human being on the phone? This whole experience is SO frustrating. HELP

    There is no phone support here. We are all human beings and speaking into a cell phone does not humanize us; in fact, studies confirm cell phone addiction dehumanizes us and desensitizes us.

    Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

    Which upgrade are you trying to cancel and get a refund for please?

    For some reason, your upgrade purchase was canceled but not refunded. But I have now processed that refund for you. As it says elsewhere in this thread, please be aware that it can take up to 7-10 business days for refunds to show up on your statement.
