Refund? I thought wp.com was wp.org

Transferring domain from .com to .org
This is my first website, and I’m sure you get this all the time. But I’m trying to personalize my site a bit more than Wrodpress.com allows. I didn’t know there was a difference, now that I do I realize I meant to register at WordPress.org.
I see there is only a 48 hour window for a refund of my wordpress.com domain, but what about a trasfer of my wordpress.com domain over to wordpress.org?
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I signed up less than a week ago, so it’s not like I’ve had this account much past the 48 hours deadline as a side note

Hey Ben!
I can certainly cancel and refund your domain name, but this could have some consequences that make you unhappy:
If we cancel your domain (votestanley.com), it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and we can’t guarantee that your domain will be available to you again once canceled.
If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. We can map your custom domain to your WordPress.org site’s server. Here are the instructions:
Also, once the 60-day holding period on newly registered domains ends, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > My Domains in your dashboard.
For more information on using the domain elsewhere, please see:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/However, if you don’t want this domain at all, I will cancel it for a full refund once I receive permission from you.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.
