    Refunds
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    Canceling upgrades
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

Your billing history will be at Dashboard > Store > Billing History
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/billing-history/

    We need details please.
    1. What is the domain URL? Do you want to use the domain URL on another site?
    2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
    3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
    4. When was the upgrade purchased?
    5. When did the refund request and upgrade cancellation take place?

  • Hi there,

I see your refund was processed on 5 December. Refunds usually take about 10 business days but sometimes there can be a delay on your bank’s end while they process it. Please follow up with them, citing the transaction ID in your refund receipt as a reference.

But the refund has definitely been issued on our end. The fact that you have a receipt proves that. Once we issue it it’s up to our payment processor and your bank to complete the transaction.
