Refund not received

    Hi there. My mother in law has not yet received her refund for her website which we cancelled almost immediately after purchase just after Christmas. Please could someone help.

  • I can see that you upgraded on 12/27/2022, and that you canceled the plan and issued a refund less than an hour after the initial purchase. This usually means the refund was issued before the original charge was settled with the bank, so the original charge will simply disappear from your bank statement without a line-item refund being issued.

    Essentially there was not enough time for us to collect payment (before you canceled) so we have nothing on our end to refund. Your bank should be able to confirm this for you, so please check with them. I confirm we show the transaction as canceled and refunded on our end as you can see here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/
