Refund of starter plan

    Hi, i just purchased my starter plan for wordpress expecting to be able to use plugins.

    after discovering i can’t do this i want to cancel my subscription.

    I read that i have a 14 day refund period, yet when i go to my purchases it only tell me i can remove it.

    indicating that i am not eligeble for a refund…

    Hi there!

    I see that you registered a domain using the free domain credit that came with the yearly plan. If you’d like to keep the domain and cancel the WordPress.com Starter plan, we’ll keep the domain registration fee and refund the rest, as you’re still within the refund period of 14 days for the WordPress.com Starter plan.

    The refund period for the domain registration is 96 hours. While you can still cancel the domain and get a full refund, please note that the domain may not be available for registration elsewhere right away. So, we advise against canceling the domain if you wish to use it.

    Having said that, we’d love to learn more about the website you’re building. Would you mind telling us more about your new site? What’s the site for, and what features do you need on the site? Based on your site requirements, we’ll be happy to share specific guides and suggestions and help you accordingly.
