Refund of upgrade bundle and domain

    Hi, I’m not sure this is the write place to post this but I need assistance with a cancellation and refund. I purchased the upgrade bundle (and registered a domain) but on inspection realised it didn’t give me the functionality I required. I cancelled, within 24 hours, from the upgrades page (bundle and domain) but I have received no confirmation email and the upgrade and domain still seem to be live.

    Please advise?

    Really getting very frustrated with this. Why is it so difficult to get some assistance with a simple refund?

    I have been trying to cancel an upgrade bundle for over a week. The tools provided do not work and it is impossible to get a response from anyone.

  • Your bundle included a domain registration.

    Unfortunately, we can only refund the domain registration portion within 48 hours.

    If you’d like, I can cancel and refund the rest of the bundle for $73.

    As for the domain, if we cancel the domain, it can take up to several weeks, and we can’t guarantee that your domain will be available to you again once canceled.

    If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it.

    Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.

    Thank you for the response.

    To be honest that is not really acceptable, as I have been trying to request a refund since 24 hours after the purchase, well within the specified time for a full refund.

    The website links did not work as specified and it has been very difficult to get a response from anyone.
