refund of WordPress Value Bundle

Hi, I recently moved my website over to a web hosting service and I’d like to get a prorated refund on the Value Bundle I was using on my WordPress blog. Please let me know the process here?

Nothing on that link says that there are no pro-rated refunds. It does say that they want me to love everything I do at WordPress, though. Will a Happiness Engineer please come and make me happy!

so we provide a 30-day refund on all of our upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
Are you inside or outside the 30 day time frame? Seems simple to me.

This thread has been flagged for Staff attention. I have been here for over 6 years and that’s before there were any upgrades to purchase. In fact I was here when there was only one Support Staff and I have nver witnessed a pro-rated upgrade refund. If I do in this case then I’ll be informing some friends who recently moved to self hosted WordPress.org installs so they can get in line for pro-rated refunds too.

Thank you for flagging the post for Staff attention. I expect somebody at WordPress is actually reading these forums and will be contacting me immediately, as there seems to be no other way to get in touch with customer support.

I am sorry, but we can only offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase. There are no pro-rated refunds offered.

Macmanx, please direct my attention to the language in your user agreement that states there are no pro-rated refunds. The rate listed in the “My Upgrades” section of the Dashboard Store itemizes the Value Bundle at a per day rate ($.27 per day). No other language on your website specifies that 1) the per day rate is not in effect if the Bundle is cancelled or that 2) cancellation after 30 days is not entitled to any refund. I do think that constitutes an implicit agreement to pro-rate any unused days and you’ll agree that you’ll be legally obligated to follow through on that agreement. Please advise.

We do not offer per-day charges. The number is only offered as a comparison and not indicative of any assumed refund value or agreement.
The only available refund period of 30 days is detailed when you place your purchase and at http://en.support.wordpress.com/upgrades/#refunds and http://en.support.wordpress.com/bundles/#cancel-a-bundle
As you had purchased your bundle in January, it has passed the 30-day refund period, and a refund cannot be generated.
