refund on canceled domain

    My domain renewal should have been 4-11-19. Why was I charged for it on 3-12-19?
    I just canceled the person blog web site I had, along with the domain.
    I received an email that I would be refunded $48.00 for the personal site.
    Why not an $18.00 refund for the cancellation of the domain?

    Hi,

    My domain renewal should have been 4-11-19. Why was I charged for it on 3-12-19?

    We charge about a month in advance so we can work through cancellations, payment issues, etc. before the domain is actually due to expire.

    And, since I can see you’ve already canceled the domain itself, I’ve gone ahead and refunded that for you too. Cheers :)
