Refund on Custom Design

Hello!
I bought custom design last year and It got renewed but I dont use my blog anymore, so I already canceled auto renew but I cant find where I could ask for a refund on this second year charge…It was charged today and I canceled the moment I was charged!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you go to wordpress.com/my-upgrades when you’re logged in to the account you created the site with do you see a link that says something like “Cancel and Refund”? You might have to click on the cog icon for it to appear underneath. Let us know if that doesn’t work.

You can only get a refund within the first 30 days after purchase or, in your case, renewal. I’ll tag this thread for staff to look at. If you haven’t used the site since the upgrade was renewed a year ago they might be able to help but only they will be able to let you know for sure. Sit tight, and if you haven’t already cliced subscribe in the right sidebar, now would be a good time so you get an email notification when this thread receives a response.

If it has very recently renewed you should be able to see the refund link as I mentioned. The screenshot shows the 24th but I’ve always been terrible with timezones!

Yeah, it would expiry tomorrow, so it renewed… I can’t see this refund link anywhere! I think I will wait for staff D:

@marcsartuso, I just looked at your upgrades and see that Custom Design upgrade was voided on 2014/10/23 at 02:39:04 UTC. Your Custom Design upgrade is now showing an expiration date of 2014/10/24, so you are good to go.

If you go to Store > My Upgrades in your dashboard, you should see this:

It might be that what you are seeing is a pre-approval transaction, but the actual payment was not processed, it was voided before it was processed. It may take a few days for the pre-approval to disappear from your statement.

Keep an eye on it and if it does actually go through as a charge, let us know. I do not see a pending transaction so I’m virtually certain it will not.
