Refund on Domain

When I purchased my premium plan, it said that I had 14-day moneyback guarantee. After working on the website for a week I realized that I needed a different platform for what I needed. I tried to get a refund, but I was only refunded $77 instead of $96. I then tried to get a refund for my domain by deleting it but I was not given a refund. I did not see anywhere that a domain had to be refunded separately so I thought that either the domain would be refunded with the plan or the domain was free and all of the money would be refunded from the plan.

Can you please help me get a refund on my domain?

I canceled my premium plan and then canceled my domain and only received a refund for my plan. The domain and plan cost $96 but I was only refunded $77.

  • Hi there, was the domain cancelled within 96 hours of being registered? Additionally, were you wanting to use it with another provider? Generally we recommend not cancelling a domain if you’d want to use it elsewhere – there’s a little more information about that here:

  • Hey there, the plan has a 14-day money-back guarantee. A domain does not because of the process it will go through if you cancel after it’s more than a few days old. This is why we strongly urge against cancelling the domain.
