Refund on Recurring Charge of non existent site
-
Hi,
I cancelled my website/blog a couple months back, but I didn’t realize I still had a reoccurring yearly charge on my account. So on June 8th, I got charged $99 for a wordpress upgrade for a site that didn’t even exist at the time. I know there’s typically a 30 day refund policy, however I didn’t even know it was processed until now looking at my bank statement. Anyway you could help process a refund? I assumed when I cancelled my site any payments associated with it would also be cancelled.
Would very much appreciate any help!
Thanks,

Hi Lindsey –
I’m happy to take a look and try to sort this out.
When checking out the account you’ve used here in the forums I don’t see any charges or upgrades made to it.
Can you try locating the emailed receipt from us? Let me know what site is mentioned in that receipt notification, or try to sign in at WordPress.com with the email address where it was delivered to you and come back to post here.
We need to get you in to the right account or get more information so we can find the charge and get to work.

Hi Liz!
Thanks so much. It’s showing my art_oconnor at yahoo.com to be the email it charged it to but no site name it correlates back to. Akismet Pro + Vault Press Lite Bundle Annual subscription is what the charge is for. Receipt ID 29971681Let me know if there’s something else you need from me to help process the refund.
Thanks!
