Refund on theme

  I have just purchased the Arcade theme and I want to use it on a FTP server rather than wordpress, is there a way to export the theme or if not could I cancel or have a refund?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there!

  WordPress.com themes cannot be used on an FTP server.

  You can download the Arcade theme for self-hosted sites to do this:

  Arcade Basic

  I see that you’ve disputed your charge for Arcade, so I can’t help out with that charge (as it’s now in your bank’s hands). But, I will remove the theme from your account, so you can move on.

  Hi,

  Ok great, apologies for jumping so quick on the disputing but it was in the hope that the transaction wouldn’t clear.

  Can you not issue a refund following which I will close the dispute, the dispute isn’t with my bank as its not that I have made a payment I didn’t authorise, its that I haven’t been sold the correct item.

  Could you advise me how best to proceed as PayPal recommends resolving it with Seller i.e. ‘WordPress’?

  Hey Rob!

  Technically, because of the dispute, the money isn’t ours to refund. You’ll have to tell your credit card company to cancel the dispute before we can have any other financial transactions.

  Hi thatrobyn,

  I’ve closed the dispute with PayPal, there is no dispute with my bank (credit card company) whom I’ve spoken to.

  Can you let me know how best to proceed for a refund.
