REFUND on Unused account

    I way charged through my PayPal for an account but I can’t find documentation of why or what account this was. I consider it to be fraudulent. Please contact me.

    What are the details, please?

    If you want Staff to investigate you must provide specifics.

    What is the URL of the domain?
    Which wordpress.COM plan did you purchase?
    Which wordpress.COM site did you purchase it for?

    Did you carry through and you use the appropriate process found here at Canceling and Refunding Purchases https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#canceling-and-refunding-purchases to cancel and request a refund?

    Did you also cancel auto-renew https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#auto-renew?

    There are no prorated refunds. Refunds https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ are time limited.

    It is important to know that canceled domains are not released by the registrar immediately. Also, note that there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use a domain again as it may be sold to someone else. Therefore you should cancel a domain, if and only if, you are sure you do not wish to use it again.

    Have you tried using that link?

    Automattic Inc. https://automattic.com/ owns WordPress.com and other products like Akismet and VaultPress, etc. so this could be a charge related to one of them. It’s important to know that each charge is sent to the registered email address for each username account, so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you. Also, if you have a wordpress.org account and a wordpress.com account that could be confusing you.

    Hi @, if you can use https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ to find some more details on the charge, that would be great. If you could post the site address the payment was for it will help us track things down for you.
