REFUND or link my domain as I paid for already.

    My domain was not linked and you charged me $96 and then when I went to link the domain again it requested an ADDITIONAL $96 WTF is going on. Refund me NOW, and assist me in getting what I paid for.

    The account you’re using to post here only owns the free site, http://michaelminto205367297.wordpress.com/, and has never bought any upgrades from us.

    If you bought a Premium Plan using a different account, please log into that account, and you’ll be able to contact live chat support at https://wordpress.com/help/contact to get this sorted out.

    I have already found out about that charge. The only NEW information I need is WHY that account does not reflect the upgrade that I PAID FOR.

    Also, why the hell is this happening here in lieu of someone emailing me and contacting me directly. If this is not fixed within the next 2 hours you will not only lose a customer for life, but I will be certain to steer anyone I know away from using WordPress.

    Hm, yes, I see what happened. The system that processes the charge has the charge, but the system that attaches purchases to your account simply did not do that. I’m sorry about that!

    Whatever caused that to not work is also preventing me from fixing this properly, so I have canceled and refunded this as requested.

    Since I both can’t tell why this happened, and since this doesn’t appear to be a wide-spread issue today, I suspect that an attempt to purchase again will work properly.

    If I want to use WordPress, installed via Cpanel, and my already purchased Elementor editor, to build my website while retaining my ownership of the domain within GoDaddy…

    EXACTLY how much would this cost on the WordPress end?
    and
    What precise steps would you recommend to guarantee that THIS will not occur when I attempt to do that?

    If you want to do it that way, you don’t need to pay us anything. I means you’ll be using the self-hosted version of WordPress from https://wordpress.org/

    Which is not only free, but also an entirely separate entity from us: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
