refund please

I paid for my service and the same day I had a refund. I was charged $47.88 thorugh PayPal, but I never received the refund. That was on December 20, 2016. Can you please look into it for me?

I see that we processed a refund for 47.88 on 12/20/16. Typically, these take less than ten business days to reach your account.
My suggestion is to inquire with your bank about any possible delays on their side. It is also helpful to find out how the refund will be listed on the statement. This varies between banks and sometimes they simply remove the original charge and don’t mark “refund” on it.

Hello again,
I have checked with PayPal and the status of my refund is pending. They say it is pending because the payment is coming from the WordPress bank and it usually takes 7 business days. It has been more than that.
Can someone please look into why my refund is still in the pending stage?

I have asked our Payments team to take a look at this refund.
PayPal does not share with us (for security reasons) when a payment is going to applied to an account. This information will need to come directly from PayPal. The funds have been released from WordPress.com.

I still haven’t received my refund. Is it possible that the original refund can be cancelled and reprocessed? I have been waiting since December 20 to receive the refund. Thank you.

There is nothing to be done from the WordPress.com side. We have released the funds and the refund is being held with PayPal. You will need to contact them about the timing of the refund and how it will appear on your statement. They may simple remove the original charge, and not assign it as “refund”.
