Refund Premium Themes

  Hello, I just purchased 4 themes from WordPress.com that I planned to use on my self-hosted site. Unfortunately I just read through the support documentation that you can not use any of the themes on WordPress.com on a self-hosted website. As a result, I would like a refund of the themes. Please advise!

  Note: Premium Themes that are licensed for WordPress.com use only and cannot be transferred to self-hosted WordPress.org sites. Some Automattic-developed premium themes can be transferred to a self-hosted site at no charge, as part of a Guided Transfer. Please post in the premium theme forums if you’d like to know whether your theme qualifies.

  Hello there!

  You are absolutely correct. Those Premium themes must be used here at WordPress.com.

  However, you can download many of the same themes to install on your WordPress.org site. For example, here is Massive Press for WordPress.org sites:
  https://press75.com/view/theme/massive-press/

  You can google the name of your WordPress.com themes and see if they have a WordPress.org counterpart. Here’s your list:

  Premium Theme: Massive Press

  Premium Theme: Magazine

  Premium Theme: Vision

  Premium Theme: Broadsheet (broadsheet)

  I will cancel these from your WordPress.com account and refund your full purchase price right now.
