Refund problem

    I’m trying to get a refund on a premium upgrade I was trying for the site valeriesfurniture.wordpress.com I tried to cancel the upgrade prior to receipt and it would only show me a cancel box with an X. I deleted the domain and am not going to be creating it on wordpress.com. Please let me know how to get a refund issued. $99

    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

    The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.     Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.

    Again, tried to do exactly as you just explained, dashboard, my upgrades, cancel, and nothing but a box with “CANCEL and an X”, not an active link or answer. Then later that day, i get an emailed receipt that i was charged. Soooo, cancel did nothing.

    Yes and that is why this thread is tagged for Staff. What’s required is your patience as Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in chronological order based on datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.

    How long it takes to clear the threads and support tickets depends on how many Happiness Engineers are working on them at any given point in time. It also depends on how complex the issues in each thread and ticket are are.

    Please don’t bump your thread here by posting into it again because it’s not in your best interest to post to it after it has been tagged for Staff help. Doing that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response.
