Refund request

I’m having serious problems cancelling my auto-re-newal of my website domain. It is not for this account but it is for another which I have forgotten all login details to (email and user ID). So I can’t log in to cancel the auto-renewal. I remember my website domain however and I have the email I thought it was registered to but when I put it in keeps saying it doesn’t exist (i can provide you with these details if you need them). The auto renewal was just charged to my credit card yesterday but I want to cancel it so any help appreciated!

I’m afraid that unless you can regain access to the other account there’s nothing to be done. Staff will not provide you with a username or email address only on your claim that you own the domain, nor will they cancel an upgrade unless you’re posting here under the username that owns the domain.
If you did not register the domain privately, you should be able to find the email you provided when buying the domain by inserting your URL here: http://www.whoishostingthis.com/
If you have the email/username, you can try to regain access to the account by completing the Account Recovery Form, but you’ll also need to provide proof of ownership of the account (for example, proof of payment, so if you can prove you own the credit card that made the payment that should be sufficient). Provide as much information as you can on the form and staff will then contact you via email to sort this out. How does one get a refund – I purchased a theme which is frankly rubbish. How do we contact WordPress for a refund there is no email etc.

Provided it has been fewer than 30 days since you bought the theme, you should be able to request a refund from Store ->My upgrades in your dashboard. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades If you have any trouble with that, let us know. Also keep in mind it can take a couple of days for the refund to be processed.Also note that premium themes have dedicated support forums if there’s something specific with which you need help. I cannot provide a link for you, as you did not provide a link to your website and I cannot see which theme you’re using. But if you go to your theme’s support document (there will be a link at the bottom of your blog), look for the Support button. Click on that, and look for the orange box that contains a link to the dedicated support forum. If you post there you can get assistance directly from the person who created the theme.
