refund request
-
I needed to cancel the Word Press Premium account that was purchased but unable to interface with Mail chimp as I needed. I had assumed that the “Premium” version enabled that to happen. I would like to request a refund for the portion of the year (perhaps less 1 month) that I was unable to use.
I do not see the gear on my account page – please advise as to next steps.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We cannot use the Mailchimp plugin on any WordPress.COM blog but there is a workaround. There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

Refunds are time limited. WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
See here:
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/Dashboard > Store > Billing History
http://en.support.wordpress.com/Billing-History/Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

We have already cancelled the original Premium site we created and moved to the regular word press account type. Would like to re-coop the fee paid for the Premium service as it did not work as we had expected for what we needed.

http://abbotkinneytriangle.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.
Please provide the URL for the blog in question in the form of an active link starting with http://

Here’s the link to the premium upgrade details page that you of course read before making your purchase. Premium bundle details http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/
Note that there is absolutely nothing stated there about mailchimp use because mailchimp is a plugin. There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on WordPress.com hosted blogs. That’s clearly stated here in the support docs http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ -
As you prematurely deleted the underlying blog there is no means of making a refund request available to you via the blog. I tagged this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

You are very kind and I appreciate all of your assistance. I hope that the Staff can be of assistance. We deleted the blog not realizing that that would result in not being able to obtain a refund request option.

I see the payment has not gone through. I have removed the domain mapping for that deleted site.
Cheers!
-
when is the payment from? and what is the amount that did not go through?
What does removing the mapping do?
-
There are no transactions on your account and you were not charged. You deleted the site so the domain mapping was not working which is why I removed the inactive upgrade.
