REFUND REQUEST

REQUEST: Please immediately cancel this transaction and refund the full transaction amount:

    [redacted]

    *************************************************

I just received WordPress.com Receipt [redacted] for a domain registration renewal that I did not intend and do not want.

When I selected the ‘manage account’ account link, in your email message, it took me to an ‘account’ which is completely blank and shows no record whatsoever of the above (or any) charge, no ownership of any domain, and no WordPress site.

    Editorial:

WordPress is the greatest time-suck I have ever known. It is one of life’s great mysteries that a product can be extant for so long yet remain so obtuse and esoterically difficult with no indication of improvement.

I do appreciate, however, that the WordPress platform provides job security to a great many website developers, by remaining too time-consuming and tedious for any business owner to manage oneself, without the constant counsel of a WordPress expert and shitty third party tutorials on YouTube.

I left the WordPress platform, because everything is difficult on WordPress, including now trying to figure out why the f*** you’re still charging me and where this active account of mine exists.

    PLEASE ADVISE.

Thank you very kindly for your assistance.

    Sincerely,
    WordPress Time-Suck Victim # 899,444,624,077

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    Hi there:

Per our Community Standards, name-calling, accusations, harassment, and other abuse toward the community or staff will not be tolerated. I advise you to be respectful moving forward.

I looked, and it doesn’t look like there’s any history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity under the account you’re currently logged into, so we’re limited in what we can help with and advise here.

If you enter the charge details at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ we can help you with this.

The transaction ID needed will be on your bank statement as WordPress followed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:

    WordPress XXXXXXXXXX

If the charge on your bank statement does not follow that format, the charge was not made here at WordPress.com.

    I hope that helps!
