    Hi @Staff,

    I am requesting a manual refund for a domain renewal fee for my domain that I paid on Jan 30, 2026.

    Transaction Details:

    • Receipt ID: [redacted]

    • Amount Paid: $16.80
    • Date of Renewal: January 30, 2026

    The Reason for Refund: I renewed the domain on WordPress.com on Jan 30, but I transferred it to Cloudflare immediately after. Due to the ICANN 45-day Auto-Renew Grace Period policy, the renewal year added by WordPress was revoked by the registry upon transfer. Only the year paid to Cloudflare was added to the expiration date.

    I am currently within the 96-hour refund window for domain renewals. However, because the domain has already successfully transferred to Cloudflare, I cannot use the self-service refund tool in my dashboard.

    Could you please manually process the refund of $16.80 for this transaction?

    When a domain is transferred, the current expiration date is transferred along with the domain. For us to refund the $16.80 domain renewal, you would need to cancel the domain. Since the domain has already been transferred out, we are no longer able to cancel and refund the payment.
