  • Hi there,

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve decided to cancel your plan and your domain. Of course, I’m here to assist you with the process.

You can cancel your plan and domain and get a refund by visiting your Purchases page at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases. Here, you can manage all your subscriptions and services.

However, I’d like to inform you about an important aspect of domain cancellation. If you cancel your domain, it won’t become available for immediate use elsewhere. The process of releasing domain names takes a certain period of time. If you’re planning to use your domain with another service, a better option would be to keep the domain registered with us and update its records to point to your new provider. This will ensure you can continue using your domain without interruption.

Lastly, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share the reason for your decision to cancel. This feedback helps us understand what we can do better. Please remember, we’re here to help with any issues or questions you might have, whether it’s about setting up your site, choosing a design, or understanding any other settings.

If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to let us know.

Hi, thanks for your help! I’ve visited the purchases page and hit cancel, but the next prompt doesn’t have any mention of a refund. If I click “Remove Plan”, will I actually get my money back?

  • Hi there,

Yes I can confirm that you are well within the refund period for your purchase, so if you cancel we will process a refund.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
