Refund to the desynergyarai account
-
I started this desynergyarai abour 24 hours ago and I have been trying to get a refund for the past two or so hours. This website shows that I did not make a purchase. I am suppose to see: “Cancel and Refund’ — but that is not there. So I thought to close the account — but I think that may not result in a refund. I want a refund.
-
If this site shows there are no purchase for this account, perhaps you made a purchase with another account of yours?
-
Howdy –
That message is appearing because the account that you’re signed in to has not made any purchases with us. It sounds like the purchase happened under a different user account all together.
Please share the site URL which you were billed for so we can take a closer look. Access to that proper account will be required to proceed with a refund or cancellation. The account recovery form should be helpful in this situation: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/

No I only did one. One that page of the billing showing nothing. I have been trying for hours to end the wordpress.com account and get a refund. For hours I have been doing this. Basic Web Hosting:christiandoctrineforjews.com
36 month
$2.95/month
$106.20I have clicked on everything — again and again. Never do I see where it says click here for your refund.
And you cannot communicate with them.

How can that be — when on the same page is the webpage of my account. Even on this page is my account by clicking on the “My Site” icon at the left top — I go to my accounts webpage.
You are wordpress.com. Why do you say a refund is offered but when I go to the place for the refund — there is no icon there to click.
-
I live in South Korea, so I cannot call wordpress.com. Please tell me how I can contact wordpress.com by email to simply say I want a refund and wish to have no account with wordpress.com.
-
Step 1 : Go to WordPress.com and login into your account Step 2 : Open your Profile. To open profile click on the photo as shown in the screenshot. Step 3 : Click on Manage Purchase next to account settings. Step 4 : In next window screen. Click on “Cancel and Refund example.com”.
I followed these steps. But there is no “cancel and refund” icon. Clicking on the Purchases icon — shows a billing history of nothing. This is the only account that I have made with wordpress.com (desynergyarai). When I type wordpress.com in the browser this is the account that appears. Of course it is the account I want to cancel and get a refund. For hours I have been trying.
It looks like this wordpress.com promises a refund but then does not give it.

Your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform but is hosted by Bluehost, https://www.whoishostingthis.com/#search=christiandoctrineforjews.com.
That’s why it’s not under your Purchases. -

This the billing. https://my.bluehost.com/hosting/account_center?lil=1#products
saying Bluehost — a receipt — of 106.20. But examining that over and over again, I see nowhere that you can get a refund. I have studied and studied all from both wordpress.com and bluehost — the two that are together in this — it looks very much that there is a promise to get a refund but giving you no way of actually getting the refund. -
WordPress.com is in no way related to Bluehost. The only way to get a refund is through Bluehost.
-
It has to be related because I opened the account with wordpress.com. And wordpress.com connected to bluehost. Who of these two am I going to get a refund from and how can I please ask.
-
As I already said, The only way to get a refund is through Bluehost. I don’t know how to contact them take a look at their site perhaps.
-
Yes, I just now finally got to the right place. It is very confusing what wordpress.com does with Bluehost. When finally getting to the right place, after much confusion from wordpress.com — Bluehost did really perfectly with a full refund. Easily done and very pleasant. So much so, I will consider Bluehost in the future. Whoever you are — maybe even someone from actually wordpress.com — Thank you and please have a pleasant day.

@desynergyarai thank you for following up, and I’m glad you are all sorted.
