Refunded Order, Lost Domain?

Hi, there! So I’m in a pickle- I bought the domain nicolendoan.com through the hosting package with WordPress.com but after realizing that I couldn’t freely use JavaScript, I decided to host my website elsewhere, but I wanted to keep my domain name. I read that I had to refund my entire order and that’s what I did but I must have missed the option to keep my domain and now I’ve lost it? I tried looking it up and it appears that someone else bought it immediately after the order was canceled. Please advise! I would like to keep my domain :[

It does look like the domain has been completely canceled. I’ve added credits to your account to allow you to register it again through WordPress.com. Alternatively, we can refund your payment and you’ll be able to purchase the domain from your register (domain seller) of choice.
