Regaining Access to my Free WordPress Site
-
Hello,
I am in quite a conundrum. My personal blog (www.aksharbet.wordpress.com) is linked to an account that I created with my university email address – (email redacted). I am no longer in university, so this email address no longer exists.
I last posted on blog roughly a year ago. I want to start posting again – however, when I try to log in, I receive a message that says that I need to check my email and click on a confirmation email – otherwise it won’t allow me to log in.
I tried to switch my account to my new email address – but I can’t do that because I don’t have any of the three forms of identity that WordPress is asking me to provide.
How do I regain access to my blog if the email address that I originally set it up with no longer exists??? Help!!!

Hi there,
We are not able to help here in the support forums, as verifying account ownership requires us to ask you to provide info that is best not shared in this public venue.
With this in mind, please fill out this form here to the best of your ability: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
This will send all the info you have to our account recovery team, and from there they will contact you directly to assist you in regaining access to the account that owns aksharbet.wordpress.com.
