Regaining access to orphaned official organization blog

  • Unknown's avatar

I’ve just started as communications manager at the Africa Center in Washington DC. I went to create a WordPress blog along the lines of my personal blog, vincecrawley.wordpress.com, but I discovered that our most logical name, AfricaCenter.wordpress.com,was created awhle ago but has not been updated. A bit of sleuthing determined that it was created using the gmail account of an employee who left our organization a couple of years ago.

As the communications representative of the Africa Center, is there a way I can get the blog un-associated with the former employee’s email address? I can provide his gmail address via private email.

    Thanks,
    Vince Crawley
