REGAINING ACCESS TO WEBSITE

  Hi. I need help regaining access to my site davidsurfacewriter.wordpress.com. Yesterday, one of your experts helped me regain access to one account with five sites of mine––but the site I am trying to regain access to is apparently not under that account. If someone could please help me locate and access the account where I can access that site, I’d appreciate it.

  Just log out of this account and log back in with the username davidhsurface1
  and correct password.

  The issue is that the WordPress.com user account you are posting from is not the owner or admin of the site you are trying to access. This typically happens when you’ve ended up with a second WordPress.com user account and that second account is the one that owns the site. You’ll need to log into THAT user account in order to make any changes.
