Regaining account access

I’ve had a blog with wordpress for about 12 years, and about 2 years ago, I moved the content over to a new, custom site and therefore I haven’t really touched the old site since then; it still exists but I only add new content on the new site. A couple of months ago, it came to my attention that several years ago I had mistakenly posted a photo that was copyrighted. I’m now trying to get into my old site to remove it, and for the life of me I can’t get into it!! I have tried every password and email that I’ve had in the past 10 years with no luck. The issue is the ‘account recovery form’ from wordpress requires 1 of 3 authentication details, none of which I have because of how long ago I started my account! Obviously, I do have 2 other wordpress accounts, which is how I’m posting this, but I’ve tried everything I can think of. Any help would be much appreciated!! Thank you!

Have you tried logging in with the username rather than an email address (and the correct password or course)

(If you can’t remember the password you could also try the password recovery form by inputting the username too) -
I can confirm the password reset email isn’t “bouncing” — so the address associated with the account is likely still live. If you’d like, you can email
[email protected]from the address you think you used back then. -
I too am having old account access problems, for a site I set up and would like to bring to life again.
The site is “https://s2wblog.wordpress.com/” and the email address, which no longer exists, was (email visible only to moderators and staff). I do not remember the password.
[I also have a personal account that I have not used yet under (email visible only to moderators and staff) (my current email) and username jacb99]
The bog is still accessible to read but I would like to edit it.

Probably my age, but I just remembered a plastic folder of old passwords I printed off for safety and put in the attic at least three years ago. And it was there and it worked! So happy bunny.
