Regaining control of a website after the admin left
-
I just discovered that there is a wordpress.com website published in 2013 that looks like it was a first crack at our company’s website. I would like to archive the content and remove the website, but we do not have the login info for that site. How can we regain control of the site admin?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi jmeyerpropricer,
What is the address of the site you need help with?
If it was created with self hosted WordPress.org software, I recommend contacting your host or posting to the WordPress.org support forums for advice:
http://wordpress.org/support/forums
I can check where the site is hosted if you aren’t sure.

@jmeyerpropricer are you able to log in as user propricer?
If not, could you confirm what the email address was?

Thanks for the username – I’ve tried a pw reset with that info, hoping there is a chance the email address used is an active, shared one, but we haven’t received the reset email. The account may be tied to one of the following inactive email addresses: (email visible only to moderators and staff) or (email visible only to moderators and staff). We can’t think of any others it might be.
