Regaining control over a blog after a long absence.

  I opened an account with WordPress, using an email address that I hoped was the relevant one for a blog I’d let lapse – only to be revived an old profile for an even earlier one that doesn’t even exist anymore. I realise WordPress links accounts with devices, and fear it’ll be impossible to regain control of the more recent one. How can I get WordPress to remind me which email I was using, ignore this extremely old profile, and give me access to the more recent one (which is still up and running online, albeit with no updates for a couple of years…)
