Regarding Blog Names

  Hi, so I’ve read into the main basis of your policy with leaving blog names in the rightful ownership of the original user, but recently I deleted a site I had just created–nothing was on it– because I just wanted to get rid of it. However, it had my name, jessicavanni, that I wanted to use to create the cite again later on. Unfortunately I found out that it wouldn’t let me take back my name until two years later. Could I please just have my original blog name back because it is still me, the same author?

  Hi there,

  I don’t know if it’s possible to restore deleted .wordpress.com addresses but you can ask the Support Staff by adding the tag modlook to the right sidebar of this topic.

  You can also register a custom domain name (such as jessicavanni.com or jessicavanni.blog) which is shorter and looks nicer (in my opinion).
