  • Hi there! I see that your home page currently shows all blog posts by default. This means that posts from all categories can be seen on your Home page.

We actually have a guide for how to organize posts using categories:

    WP
Posts » Organize Posts with Categories

Categories provide a helpful way to group related blog posts together. You might want to create categories for different topics you cover in your blog. For example, if you have articles that cover a specific genre of music, you might want to keep those grouped together in a category. Categories not only help keep posts organized, but you can also use categories to display posts in several place

If you have a dedicated ‘Thoughts’ category, then you can find the automatically-created category page for it here:
    https://http://rakshithtest.wordpress.com/category/thoughts

On your category page, only the posts assigned to that specific category will appear!

In order to customize the category page layout, you can go to Appearance > Editor and choose to begin editing the ‘Index’ template in order to design the overall appearance of all category pages. You could also choose to create a custom ‘archive’ template there too. We do of course have a guide that is relevant for this too:

    WP
Templates » Edit the Index and Archive Templates

The Index and Archive templates are used to display blog posts on pages of your site. This guide will show you how to customize these pages. About the Index and Archive Templates If your site uses a theme that supports the site editor, you can access and edit the templates. A quick way to determine if your site uses the site editor is to check for Appearance → Editor in your dashboard.
