Regarding customizing theme

  Hi!
  I just have a doubt, when i am referring to the tutorial and building my wordpress website, i dont have certain options like making static page as home page and creating single page website, which is trendy now.
  I have a doubt that currently im in free plan, does these customizing options were available only in paid options are they also available for free subscription.

  Hi Syed!

  You can create Static homepage and one-page website, and do basic design customization using free plan, but if you would like to add some additional CSS, then you would require Premium or Business plan.

  You can learn to personalize the basic settings of your WordPress.com website or blog from these video tutorials, it also includes video on creating static homepage.
