Regarding importing a wpress backup

    Hello!

    I have a website that I wish to import. The old website was on another account and it has been offline for some time now. However, I do have the all-in-one migration backup file (.wpress file) of the website and wish to import it into this new account.

    Now, I do understand that I need to subscribe to the Creator plan in order to use the all-in-one migration plugin to import the website but I will have no requirement for that plan other than that and I would want to downgrade the plan to one of the cheaper plans after that.

    Will downgrading the plan also remove the backup and revert the website to default?
    If there is any other way for me to restore the backup please let me know.

    Yes, when you downgrade from the Creator plan to a lower plan, the site will revert to how it was before you install your first plugin or theme. There is a process we can run to try to import your content into the lower plan if needed.
