  Can I add a link URL that is not a wordpress URL?

  Of course. I’ve often written posts with a dozen or more links. Note that including links you get PAID for is against the terms of service and you can lose your blog.

  As t3ck and raincoaster said; affiliate/paid links are frowned upon here.

  Those aside, including links in your posts is positively encouraged!
