regarding text editor for posts

  Hi, i’m just enquiring regarding the text editor we use when we are typing a blog entry. For some other users, there’s the visual and code tabs at the top of the box. Visual tab is chosen whereby it’s more convenient, instead of typing in the html tags manually, one can just press ctrl+b or ctrl+i to bold their words.

  For my account, i seemed to not have the tabs. Can i know what should i do?

  You may have the Rich Text Editor (the one with the tabs) turned off in your options page.

  ohhhh!!! i found it! yes it’s under the tabs users, i unchecked the rich text editor! thanks!!!

  Ah, okay, took me a second to remember where the option was, but if you navigate over to the “Users” tab in your Dashboard, then select “Your Profile” from the sub-tab-menu, there will be an option on that page with a check box next to it reading: “Use the visual rich editor when writing”.
